speech

This week we have our speeches so I'm going to be talking about how prepared I'm for my speech which I think I'm a sort of prepared i still need to remember some of it so when I say it tomorrow I will know it all hopefully. I'm very happy that my cue cards are all done because if I hadn't of done them and then on Wednesday morning I would be freaking out. the thing I have to work on the most is to not talk to fast and to pronounce all of the letters in my words and all of the syllables and not to fidget and to just stand still so my speech people can actually understand and properly hear my speech.

Production

Hi guys today I'm going to
talk about the production. at our school we do a show ever second year and this year it was about robin hood but a comedy version and it was very cheesy. I played Dancing Dave he was very Jazzy so that meant I had to be all Jazzy which was very challenging and extremely fun so enjoyed that a lot I also enjoyed doing the goodies dance No Money. that was also my highlights of the whole thing and doing all the practices for the two nights. the funniest moment was when Iraklis nearly fell of his chair half way throw his scene. I don't think I would change anything at all.

Everybody is a genius. but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole live believing that it is stupid.

This quote was written by Albert Einstein.

This quote means not to judge people by there ability e.g a fish can't climb a tree but a monkey can, a fish can swim a monkey cant. Its like having the same test but people have different weaknesses and strengths.
To me this quote is very inspirational because its tells me that all people are different I their own way and that everyone has  different ability's.

NASA: what is happening in space

For this week we got a independent space inquiry sheet we have to do 6 tasks over 3 weeks and on of term is current events that is happening in space so that is what I'm going to be talking about.

One thing that is happening in space is that the people in the international space station are coming back and new people are going up on Thursday. another thing that happened is that 9 days ago NASA sent a Juno spacecraft  which has sent back the first ever photos of Jupiter's north pole with is first flyby of the planet with its instruments turned on. the pictures taken show that the storm

systems are very unlikely anything shown in previous images.

Time Management

Today I will be talking about my time management skills I complete most of my work at school but do a bit of it at home. It is hard for me to make most of my time at school because I am in the school production but I am doing well keeping up with the tasks and other school activities. Things that make it hard to concentrate are people talking and having conversation next to you while you are doing your work. Things that help me to concentrate is listening to music it sounds odd but it actually helps me and doesn't distract me from my work. To overcome these difficulties I can move away from people who are talking.

Production Dances

Production Dances

During while we have been starting the production we have been learning some dances. The first one we learnt was to the song Robbin Hood, by Extra Curricular which is a partner dance. The second dance was to the song No Money, by Galantis. Even though the year 7s are doing the Robbin Hood dance and the year 8s are doing the No Money dance, we still all practice together because the dances also very  depending on who you are playing.

Personally, I like the dance that goes to No Money better because it's quite fast and it gives you a challenge to keep up with the music, though I still like the other song because there are some fun cool moves. To make sure the dances are a success, we need to stay in time with the music and have lots of enthusiasm really with are faces and in the actual dance to.

robotic mermaid to help...

Robotic Mermaid To Help With Deep Sea Exploration

At Stanford university they have created an robotic mermaid (ROV'S)
Remotely Operated Vehicles. I think it is a smart idea to have a mermaid that can dive 2,000 meters down without collapsing. the mermaid is a square shaped and if or when it gets stuck in small places it can stretch out its arms and make the space bigger so it can then escape. this is the site so if you want to read about the mermaid you can. Robotic Mermaid Article
